One of my marketing illustration tasks on The Wingfeather Saga was to create paintovers/cleanup over rough poses of 3D character production model. The goal was to create high resolution “hero shot” stills suitable for print and other media usage. While these are not my original designs (those were done by Nicholas Kole), the craftsmanship involved in the process was very therapeutic!
